Save-A-Life, Inc. provides low cost spay and neuter vouchers redeemable at local veterinary clinics. To purchase a spay/neuter certificate, come to PetsMart in Savannah at 11132 Abercorn St. any Saturday between 11:00AM and 3:00PM. The cost of the certificates is listed below. We accept cash, checks, or money orders.

Terms and conditions for voucher
The Spay/Neuter voucher authorizes participating veterinarians to do a routine SPAY or NEUTER on a DOG or CAT and bill Save-A-Life. Generally, THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL CHARGES WHICH VARY BY VETERINARIAN (i.e., medications, blood work, vaccinations, surgery complications such as pregnancy or in heat.). INQUIRE ABOUT THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES BEFORE SCHEDULING THE SURGERY. ADDITIONAL COSTS MUST BE PAID BY THE OWNER. Pets must be in good health and current on vaccinations. Call one of the participating veterinarians listed above to schedule the surgery. YOU MUST IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS A PARTICIPANT IN SAVE-A-LIFE'S SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM AND GIVE THE SLOT # SHOWN ON THE VOUCHER. The veterinarian's office will not be able to contact Save-A-Life for verification. If you need to call Save-A-Life before the scheduled surgery, you will need the slot # on the voucher. Veterinarians WILL NOT honor expired vouchers. If surgery is not scheduled prior to the expiration date, bring the voucher to our Mobile Adoption at PetsMart any Saturday between 11:30AM and 2:00PM. Under certain circumstances the date may be extended at no charge. A $5.00 replacement fee will be charged for lost vouchers.

In recognition of SPAY DAY USA, each year Save-A-Life Animal Welfare Agency donates a number of free cat and dog spay certificates in conjunction with some of our local veterinarians to low income pet owners, senior citizens, SSI recipients, or multi-pet owners who cannot otherwise afford to spay their female pets.
