Welcome to Save-A-Life, Inc.
Save-A-Life,
Inc. is an all
volunteer 501 (c) 3 non-profit animal welfare organization created to prevent
overpopulation of companion animals through low cost spaying and
neutering. Animal shelters in the U.S. kill approximately 5.2 million
abandoned, unwanted animals each year. Millions more suffer and die on the
streets due to starvation, exposure, diseases, and automobile
accidents. For more than 4 decades Save-A-Life has assumed a
leadership role in advocating low-cost spaying and neutering in order to help
prevent the wholesale slaughter of unwanted, homeless dogs and cats.
Responsible pet owners do not add to the pet overpopulation problem,
they spay or neuter their pets. Save-A-Life also provides foster
care, necessary medical treatment for foster animals, and a placement assistance
program to help members of the public place their companion animals. On
occasion, medical assistance is provided to those individuals who could not
otherwise afford to care for their pets. All funding for SAL programs
comes from donations and fund raising activities. We
have been saving animal lives since 1967!
Help Needed
Can you spare an hour a week?
Can
anyone spare an hour a week to help our cats/kittens at PetsMart?
Save-A-Life needs volunteers to go to PetsMart during the week to give the cats
some TLC, clean the cages, etc. If interested, please email us at contact@savealifepets.org for
details and instructions.
The kitties will appreciate
it!!
