About a year and a half ago I adopted a terrier mix puppy from save-a-life. From his earliest days in our home it was very obvious that he knew he was in charge. I decided to name him after another tough guy, Dennis Hopper. He is affectionately known as Hopper, which is also fitting because dare devil leaps are one of his favorite pastimes. We could not be happier to have our little assertive buddy, but I often wondered about his mother and his other litter mates. It is wonderful to know that Hopper has a happy home, but I was very happy to see the adoption notice for his mother “Lucy” as well. I know that his brothers and sisters are just as happy! Save-a -life is a great organization.
